Memorial Tree Program

The Memorial Landscape Program began in 1999 when a donation was given to Landscape Services in memory of Dr. Paul Albertson. With that donation, a tree and a memorial plaque were purchased and located on campus.

Since that time, Landscape Services has periodically been contacted for additional memorial trees on campus and has begun to establish a "Memorial Tree Walkway". The donation includes an 'October Glory' Maple and a cast bronze plaque to be included in the Memorial Tree Walkway. In addition, the money covers the maintenance and care of the memorial tree and the area in which it is located.
